This Cortona, Italy alley was very difficult to climb; yet, residents lived all along the steps. I took many reference photos of this interesting place. The actual painting is taller and seems more narrow than this photo. We will have to adjust that.
Ideas for titles are welcome: Going Up.... or Up, Up and Home....???

I'd leave this one as it is. The perspective is great, the uneveness of the steps is there, the light reflections on the tops of the steps, it is all so right. This is a really nice one that I was privileged to see at its birth. I like the way it grew up! I'm miserable at titles, so I won't even try with this one...Susan
