Barbara paints primarily from reference photos which she, her husband and friends have taken. Her focus when approaching a new painting is to capture the mood which inspired the photo or still life set up in her studio.

This is #3 in the series of Agave paintings in pastel. Some bad news. The plant that I am painting is growing the center spike which means it is on its way out. It gave us much pleasure.
Barb is a juried member of Arizona Art Guild, Arizona Art Alliance, Vanguard Artists, Wickeburg Art Club. She is also a member of the Association of Pastel Society, the Chicago Pastel Painters and the Sun City Grand Art Club.
