Earth Child

Pastel painting on colorfix paper with primer added for texture.
This little girl was playing in the dirt, unaware of the many people walking around her. I took the reference while waiting to get in the Armstrong Flower Fields in Carlsbad, California. I think our Sequoia will look like this in a few years.

What great texture I see in this! Barb, this is such a sweet painting, she looks perfectly natural sitting there, oblivious of all around her. You done good!
