Just a pencil sketch I was doing . This and the next post.....another door done in pastel are my latest Italy memories. Seems I just can't leave it alone.

Barbara paints primarily from reference photos which she, her husband and friends have taken. Her focus when approaching a new painting is to capture the mood which inspired the photo or still life set up in her studio.

Barb is a juried member of Arizona Art Guild, Arizona Art Alliance, Vanguard Artists, Wickeburg Art Club. She is also a member of the Association of Pastel Society, the Chicago Pastel Painters and the Sun City Grand Art Club.
It is through these memberships that she has received several awards and has been juried into many shows both statewide and national:
