Barbara paints primarily from reference photos which she, her husband and friends have taken. Her focus when approaching a new painting is to capture the mood which inspired the photo or still life set up in her studio.

This is the final "Going Home". The image is still squatty. Hmmm? Pastel on Belgium Mist Kitty Wallis sanded paper.
