This watercolor painting of Sweet Peas was fun and unlimiting. At a weekend show I received a commission to paint a similar piece but larger and with some other colors.

Barbara paints primarily from reference photos which she, her husband and friends have taken. Her focus when approaching a new painting is to capture the mood which inspired the photo or still life set up in her studio.

Barb is a juried member of Arizona Art Guild, Arizona Art Alliance, Vanguard Artists, Wickeburg Art Club. She is also a member of the Association of Pastel Society, the Chicago Pastel Painters and the Sun City Grand Art Club.

I saw this when you first started it, it finished very well. How large is the second one to be? I like all your florals with the white of the paper for a background, they have a very fresh look!
