Barbara paints primarily from reference photos which she, her husband and friends have taken. Her focus when approaching a new painting is to capture the mood which inspired the photo or still life set up in her studio.

This painting ... double matted and framed with another stem added....sold today. This is the only photo I had of Serenity. She saw it in January and found my card to buy it in late March. It will be happy.
This is great! I don't think I saw this one, either work-in-progress or finished. How lovely this must have been. I can see why it sold.
