Barbara paints primarily from reference photos which she, her husband and friends have taken. Her focus when approaching a new painting is to capture the mood which inspired the photo or still life set up in her studio.

I am feeling stagnant in this heat. Decided to paint some watercolor for a change. This, AFTERNOON TEA, was fun to do. Hope you like it and stop what you are doing and have a cup.
Better make that an ICED tea! Love the hot colors in this and the pattern on the cup against the striped mat.
